Background

Evergreen Collaborative, RMI, and Climate XChange have reviewed all 47 state-level Priority Climate Action Plans to identify trends across states, assess state ambition for reducing emissions, and better understand the different approaches that states took in developing their statewide climate plans. Collectively, these plans give great insight into how the nation can address emissions in the short and long term.

How To Use the Data

This spreadsheet is intended to make the information of all 47 plans more accessible by organizing information about the required, optional and additional elements that were included in the state plans.

To manipulate the data or filter content by state and sector, please first make a copy of the spreadsheet. Information is provided about every single measure included in each of the 47 plans, along with quantified values of the state’s emissions reduction which have been standardized for the 2030 and 2025 targets.
