“Kamala Harris was the only candidate on stage tonight with a plan to ensure American industry leads the world in clean manufacturing, cuts climate pollution, and brings down energy costs for working families. Donald Trump lied about his record as president and doubled down on failed energy policies that jacked up prices and accelerated the climate crisis. Trump doesn’t even have a concept of a plan on climate, just one to claw back our hard-earned progress to line the pockets of Big Oil billionaires. Climate voters saw a clear contrast between Harris' plan to build on the Inflation Reduction Act's progress, and Trump's plan to let special interests undo our progress on climate change. The American people want a president who will take action on climate change—the choice is clear.”
